Second day in London-food, food and more food

I am not really crazy for the hotel breakfast and like to skip it whenever possible. So, this was our breakfast spot every morning. They are all over the city and we could find one on the way to wherever we were heading to. I loved their acai bowl with green apples! I made my own version the other day and will be posting it soon. ;)

Next stop-British museum. It’s a beautiful building, inside and outside. And it’s big! We had to choose what we wanted to see because to see it all you need days or weeks.

For an early lunch, we wanted to try bangers and mash. I am still laughing at the name of the dish! :D

Even though this place was highly recommended I ended up not liking it. The food tasted instant and kind of fake. I wasn’t really sure if that was meat and potatoes I was eating and the sauce was definitely not homemade… Too bad because the place was cute and I loved the lighting.

I am almost embraced to say but these were very helpful. When we were in Japan I don’t remember ever having a problem with the left-hand traffic. However, in London, after a day or two I was so confused with where to look for cars and was expecting them to come from above as well. Fun times!

I almost don’t recognise myself on this pic.:D I was having bad hay fever those days and could barely keep my eyes open. Also, for some reason the electricity in our hotel wasn’t the best and the hair drier couldn’t get hot enough so that I could straighten my hair properly. But, aside from my face and hair looking double in size the rest is looking normal!

Getting my daily dose at C&D. Those chocolate, raspberry and meringue cupcakes were so yummy!

Then we met with V’s sister and her boyfriend. It started raining so we went to a bar for some drinks.

And then, surprise surprise, more food! For dinner we tried another British classic-chicken and leak pie. Much better that what we had for lunch food but still, nothing special.
