I got this for breakfast just before we left of for Nikko. I
have no idea what it was but it was good. Too bad Japanese don’t speak English so
good because I often wanted to know what I was eating :D
We visited two shrines in Nikko, Taiyuinbyo shrine and
Toshogu shrine. The architecture of the buildings is so different to anything I
have seen before with so many interesting details and colours. That in
combination with the beautiful nature surrounding these places made everything
look surreal. I can imagine how peaceful it is when visitors and tourist are
gone and all you can hear is sound of the wind and the trees.
