Eel is not really my favourite
fish but I had to try this traditional dish and I was not disappointed! Again,
very mild flavour, almost like comfort food or something you could eat every
day and not get bored of. Also, I was always looking forward to this broth or
soup that Japanese serve with almost every meal. So light and just beautiful to
look at! Btw, the restaurant is called Izu-ei Hoten. It’s a perfect spot if you
are spending the day going from museum to museum in Ueno area.
