Bad weather

Just outside of Rome are ruins of beautiful Villa Adriana, such a romantic place. Villa D´Este is the one to impress with countless fountains, plants and views. I haven’t got many good pictures since it was very cloudy and dark day but here are a couple... hope to come back one day!

Opera night

I dont know if its true what they say that opera you either love or you don’t , anyhow I loved it from the first time! The lady of the camellias was the book I got from a dear family friend some years ago and I very much enjoyed reading it. So I was excited to see La Traviata! Salone Margherita-beautiful venue and the fact that they served pasta and ice-cream in the pause... it was wonderful experience!

Eggplant obsession

Ever since Amalfi I have been obsessed with eggplant! Between visiting St. Peters Basilica and Vatikan museums we stopped for a lunch at a sandwich place Duecentogradi, just outside Vatikan walls. It was heavenly good! Crispy bread, greasy mortadella, rich cheese and juicy eggplant... OMG! Then I finished with nutela/pistachio one... overindulging that is...
