The bridge on the Drina
Autumn is beautiful in Serbia,
especially in the country side! I have spent a couple of days traveling, with
my mother and my husband, through south/west Serbia. We crossed the border and
stayed in Republika Srpska for a day as well. The main attraction is, of course,
the bridge. Drina is pretty wild river so any bridge crossing it has to be strong.
And this one is powerful and beautiful too.

Ryoanji garden and my favourite Japanese snack
No excuse :D
Cloudy day.
Ryoanji garden-masterpiece stone garden. I was very much
looking forward to seeing this one. I listened to Monty Don talk about this
garden with such enthusiasm so I had to experience it for myself.
Beautiful simplicity.
O-nigiri, my favourite salty snack. I think I had this almost
every day. It’s a rice ball stuffed with some king of fish in the middle.
Afternoon walk alongside the river.
For late lunch I got simple rice with meat and vegetables.
This was actually too sweet for my liking. Luckily I got some soup as well so I
didn’t end up hungry :D
