Views like these

Those couple of days we have spent on Tara mountain were magical. Most of the time we were driving literally through the woods. Above us the treetops were so dense, instead of blue skies there were all the shades of orange, red, yellow and green, overlapping each other. For kilometres at the time there was no sign of civilisation. And then there were views like these.

Summer magic

This summer has been awfully rainy and cold. For my monthly nature posts I really didn’t feel like posting pictures of rain or grey skies. So, I was very happy when sun showed up and sky cleared up!

My sister and I drove to Härlanda tjärn, a small, very popular lake, especially in the summer. Place was packed with people swimming and grilling. I had a jacket on-for me it was still cold but Swedish are tough! :D By the sunset most of the crowd was gone and it was the perfect time for pictures.

Beginning of autumn

      I took these pictures couple of weeks ago when we went to Stensjön for a midday walk. I love this time of year when leaves are changing colours, rain is knocking on the window more often and I’m craving apples with cinnamon.

The last day in Como we have spent wandering around in Varenna…

…eating gelato…

…colourful buildings...

and luscious gardens!

In the evening we took a walk on the outskirts of Como and stumbled upon Cioccolati Italiani. Reading the menu was like confessing my naughtiest thoughts :D

Like this dark and white liquid chocolate…heaven!
