First day in London

After a short flight and a train ride we arrived in London. 

We stayed in Soho area, which was perfect-everything was within walking distance. Most importantly Crumbs and doilies. :D I have been watching Jemma on youtube for quite some time so to try some of her cupcakes was a must!

On the way

First on the list of places to visit-221bBaker Street. 

On the way to Camden town we passed by this beautiful place. 

First taste of British food-fish and chips. :D It was very good-greasy and crunchy.

Camden town was highly recommended by my mother in law, who lived in London and my sister in law who now lives in London. I ended up buying a little leather bag in one of the shops selling stuff from India. 

First visit at Crumbs and doilies. Those pretzel cupcakes were a dream! 

After a short rest at the hotel, we went for a pre-dinner walk. Love the sky!

On Sundays restaurants serve Sunday roast and we had to try it. It wasn’t the best roast I had but it was ok. The dessert was a bit weird-sticky toffee pudding with butter or clotted cream(!) on top. Both Yorkshire pudding and butter on cake are probably one of those things you get used to with time. Yeah, I wasn’t too worried, I could always buy a couple of cupcakes to indulge in! ;)
