Sforza castle and trying new foods

We have spent the morning in this vast castle surrounded with architecture, statues, tapestries and paintings from the middle ages.

Even though I wouldn’t change the time we are living in I still daydream about renaissance Italy!

For dinner we ended up in a very traditional restaurant eating very traditional food-surprise surprise. I went with waiters recommendation and got Nervetti salad for a starter. Main component of the dish is tiny pieces of meat held together by a gelatin-result of cooking bones and cartilages. It goes really well with beans and it tastes pretty mellow. I am not shy when it comes to trying new foods but this was pretty wild for me too :D
