Promised Land

All the different languages, religions, cultures, traditions...Jerusalem is a very unique city. Just walking the streets you understand the turbulent history of it. I am not really religious so to see people who devote their lives to religion is fascinating to me.

Jerusalem

I didn’t know what to expect coming to Jerusalem so I was very surprised by the architecture of the city. Narrow streets, unusual shape of windows, beige colour of the stone and discrete evening lightning give it mystical kind of a feel. We never asked at our hotel but every day around late afternoon when we would be getting ready to go out there was a live piano music coming from close by, sometimes it would be going on until midnight. Sweet memories!

Wadi Rum or going back to my roots should I say?!

When I was a little girl and there was a mascaraed in school all the girls got to be princesses and witches while my mama thought it was a cool idea to dress me into a Bedouin. Can you tell she wanted a boy?! :)

Petra by night

Candle lights, warm sweet tea, sound of an old oriental instrument...all you can do is fall in love with a place.

Up in the mountain tops of Petra

This was probably my favourite walk, maybe because it wasn’t so hard ;) When up there all you can see is a vast area of mountain tops where ever you turn and the breeze feels so gooood!
