Maja&Johans wedding part 3: Ceremony and party

Here comes the last part of Maja and Johans wedding. After the couples shoot I had some time to capture all the beautiful decorations that have been made by bride and groom themselves.

The ceremony was very personal with songs and poems.

Although I can't say that I remember any of it as I was fully concentrated on my task :D

Friends and family congratulating happy couple for the first time!

Then it was time for a group shot. Me getting up on a roof doesn't mean I love heights it just means I'll do anything for a picture as my husband said. Can't be truer! Thank's to Sandra I have the proof!

Mingling before dinner with fruity drinks, playing and preparing the food...

Dinner was delicious! Pasta, salmon, jung potatoes are amongs my favourites but there was a lot more to choose!

 Many MANY speaches were held!

After dinner there was time for activities like playing basketball. Maja was playing on elit level so this was no surprise!

Baking is one of Maja's passions so ofcourse wedding cake was her creation, brownie with freashly whipped cream and those beautiful Swedish strawberries. Heavenly!

It really was the perfect garden wedding! Like I said it was my first wedding to photograph and I can only hope to get more chances like this!

Packing for Italy!

These are the dresses and the coat that I got custom made and am in love with! The clutch is something I've been looking forever for, it's by Jenny Peckham, simple and beautiful.

Maja&Johans wedding part 2: Couples shoot

After a morning spent getting ready at Maja’s grandmother’s we went to beautiful grounds around Gunnebo castle.

This was my first time photographing a wedding so I was excited to know that Sandra will be photographing as well! The fact that not the whole responsibility was on me made me more relaxed and the fact that I will be next to the professional was priceless. It was an inspiring and learning experience! Sandra knew exactly from which angle to shoot and seemed like she was everywhere at once, very efficient and professional! Maja and Johan were natural, exuding love and care for each other. Now I think I’m addicted to capturing love!

Part 3 coming soon

Sweet olives from Greece

In Serbia there's something called "slatko" which is fruit in very sweet sirup, jared and can stay that way for months. So when I saw Greeks make it with olives I was interested to try. It's an interesting combination and it definitely satisfies my sweet tooth :)

Shopping for fall

For fall I tend to go for warm colours like brown and beige but since we are going to Milano for some reason I see myself in black. I got custom made a couple of dresses and a beautiful linen coat. I loved the experience of choosing the material, making alternations and watching it come to life. Maybe I’ll post a picture of those before we go but for now here are the shoes I fell in love with.
